'Expendables 2' Poster: Where's Stallone?

'The Avengers' is wall-to-wall, bigger-than-existence superheroes: Not used to the big-screen is Hawkeye, minimal-well-known in the Marvel film clan. 'We've only seen glimpses of him up to now in 'Thor' which awesome first trailer, so Jeremy Renner's here to enlighten us in regards to the marksman, whom he calls "more badass" in comparison to spies he plays in 'Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol' as well as the approaching 'Bourne Legacy.' Although he's been sworn to secrecy, he did make certain nearly all his moments are with Scarlett Johansson which he doesn't cash screen time with Robert Downey, Junior. Unless of course obviously he's doing. We're under sure. To several people who've just seen the flicks, and never see the comics, Hawkeye is certainly a mystery quantity inside the 'Avengers' world. Exactlty what can you tell me about Hawkeye, for your movie-only fans? Not just a lot. For the reason that I am unsure. It's a huge movie. There are many figures within it, so there's hardly any room for backstory or character development. He comes more within the Ultimates world in comparison to old-fashioned Marvel while using mask. I possibly could not really discuss that just before the costumes were revealed. Since that's out, it's certainly more The Ultimates version in the character. Certainly seems more authentic, which explains why I obtained involved to start with. Marvel started creating these superhero movies that are pretty plausible for just about any superhero movie. Like the whole Iron Guy factor was like, "Wow, I really could kind of purchase it.Inch It could kind of happen. I believed they did a great job and clearly with Downey and coping with use him eventually. I still didn't use him on 'The Avengers' much. Are you currently presently saying he's at character as Tony Stark the whole time otherwise you just don't have many moments with him? No, no. Well, kind of, while not. It's tough to explain. You will have to start to see the movie. Well, I'd notice tomorrow, essentially could! So would I, really. Possibly you've seen a lot of it? No. Which I have no idea exactly what it seems like. It's just too big from the movie in scope will be able to grasp. I appear like I'm merely a small little pawn inside the Joss Whedon arena of 'The Avengers' film. What's it like bring every one of these totally legendary figures together? Awesome! Awesome! Really, it happened just once [breaks to think about] ... two occasions, i had been altogether. Just round the set at the time that, as well as be together. Now, that was fun. Once we were in Central Park, everybody reaches costume... [breaks] nah, not everybody. I wasn't in costume. Scarlett wasn't. But merely to own everybody there... it's a hoot. Does Hawkeye hold the history with Scarlett's character in this particular they've inside the comics? There's some stuff inside with Scarlett which i, yes. However, I am unable to speak with how it is. But yeah, I really use her a good deal. Greater than anybody else, I am in a position to condition that, only because of there being ties previously. You can't enter a history from this, and surely, they spend a while together. Am i prone to go to a standalone Hawkeye movie? Oh, I am unsure. I don't have complete control over that! But would you like to? That's another "I am unsure.Inch They'd have to want me to make it happen. And I'd need to ensure that you will find enough there to go to take action. Don't wish to make it happen just to make it happen. You could just come in 'Thor 2' or 'Iron Guy 3.' Yeah, you never know inside the Marvel world. Keeps it exciting. The Monday Guide to TV: A Holiday Closer, Charlie Brown and More Country Awards

The Closer Is he a good Santa or a bad Santa? Sounds like a case for Brenda Leigh Johnson (Kyra Sedgwick), and in a very campy Christmas episode of TNT's The Closer (9/8c) - one of many holiday episodes we'll be weighing in on this week - the Santa is question (and under questioning) is played by Fred Willard, so at least you know you'll be entertained. When a fellow Santa is killed during a sabotaged zip-line stunt at the "North Pole Village" run by Willard, he is brought in to the precinct in full costume, drinking and smoking and barfing and raving. This causes great dismay for Christmas-loving Buzz (Phillip P. Keene, resplendent in a reindeer sweater), who's accompanied by his head-turning sister Casey (FlashForward's Christine Woods), an instant favorite among the guys in the precinct, described at one point by a petulant Brenda as looking "like a bunch of diabetics standing in front of a candy store." But the biggest gift of all for me is the return of Mark Pellegrino in his devilishly funny turn as Brenda's outrageous lawyer, who's asking for more money to continue working on her federal lawsuit. If you ask me, he's worth every penny. The cartoon classic that defines Christmas TV, A Charlie Brown Christmas, returns to ABC (8/7c), and I can already feel myself dancing around the room to that jazzy Vince Guaraldi score. This year, it's paired with the new Prep & Landing cartoon Naughty Vs. Nice (8:30/7:30c), in which elves Lanny and Wayne race to rescue classified North Pole technology from a Naughty Kid hacker.Want more fall TV news?
